The Stables of Shiloh Farms prides itself in having competent trainers ranging in many different specialities, including Hunter/Jumpers, Dressage, Eventing, and many Western disciplines.
Kelsey Horowitz- Hunter/Jumpers
Kelsey is originally from Roswell, GA. She has been riding for 16 years in the USEF "A" and "AA" rated shows. She has participated in Junior Hunter, Junior/ A/O jumpers, mini Prix, and medals with many champions and reserves. Kelsey was a member of the 2006 Auburn Equestrian National Championship Team and qualified for the 2005 and 2003 Junior Hunters Finals.Other acheivements include the 2002 and 2003 SCHJA Governors Cup; 2000-2004 Ages 12-14 Rider of the year; 2002 NAL Childrens' Hunters Finals in Harrisburg, PA; 2001 GHJA Pony Finals Equitation Winner; and was chosen as a recipient of the 1999 GHJA Scholarship Award.
Lauren Downing- Wetern Training (barrels, reining, pleasure)
Lauren Downing is a native of Dothan, Al. At the early age of six, she discovered that riding was her passion. During the next 16 years of riding, she has had the opportunity to school in many disciplines including barrels, vaulting, and jumping. As she entered high school, Lauren began training in Horsemanship and Western Pleasure. This included the breaking and showing of 2 and 3 year olds in open schooling shows. She taught lessons for six years at an equestrian ranch in north Georgia and at Auburn Equestrian Team summer camps. Lauren continued her training as a member of the 2006 and 2008 Auburn National Championship Team. There she was trained in Horsemanship and Reining. As a scibe at multiple Auburn Equestrian Team competitions with other Division I colleges and universities, she learned invaluable pointers on what the judges were looking for. She loves teaching riders of all ages and levels, from beginner to advanced, and enjoys seeing her students reach their goals. Lauren is expecially proud of her certification in both Western and English through CHA (Certified Horsemanship Association).
Jessica Hampf-Eventing/Dressage
Jessica Hampf, originally from Nashville Tennesse, has been riding since age 6. She started her riding career in the hunter/jumper A circuit progressing to show jumping. In 2002, she began competing in 3 day events and now has five years of experience competing at the upper levels. She has completed 4 CCI*** and 5 CIC*** on the horse "High Society III". She continues to train with international 3 day event riders Jan Byyny and David O'Connor, international dressage rider Tami Crawford, and top Grand Prix Show Jumper Aaron Vale. She was named the Canadian Eventing Team Long List for the first time based on results at the CCI** Virginia 3 Day Event in 2006. She is currenty Short Listed for the Canadian Eventing Team. Jessica specializes in bringing along young horses and/or problem horses. She also teaches various levels of dressage and 3 day eventing.
